Национальный рекламный комитет*, Национальная комиссия по наблюдению за рекламной деятельностью* (создана в 1971 г. по инициативе Национального совета по наблюдению за рекламной деятельностью с целью поддержания правдивости и точности национальной рекламы; совместно с Отделом общенациональной рекламы, является частью двухуровневой системы по контролю за рекламной деятельностью; система работает следующим образом: когда появляется заявление о недобросовестной или вводящей в заблуждение рекламе, оно сначала расследуется Отделом общенациональной рекламы; если рекламодатель или сторона, подавшая жалобу, не согласны с решением Отдела общенациональной рекламы, то претензия передается на рассмотрение Национального рекламного комитета; если Комитет принимает сторону рекламодателя, то дело закрывают, в противном случае от рекламодателя требуют изменить оспариваемую рекламу и предупреждают, что если он не сделает этого, то дело будет передано в соответствующий государственный орган)See:
